Learn the Greek fire grid before you bet

A 6x6 grid, set in Ancient Greece with fire as a theme, is the board of Gates of Hades. There are no paylines. A win needs a cluster of at least 5 matching symbols that touch each other horizontally or vertically, never diagonally. Each paid cluster is removed, new symbols fall from above, and this tumble repeats until no cluster is left. The WILD can carry a random multiplier.

12 Free Spins start when four Scatters land on the first tumble, and the WILD multiplier range rises to 500x in that mode. The Progressive Multiplier runs on the WILD METER: each WILD adds its multiplier to a column total, and in Free Spins that total lasts the whole round. Super Free Spins lifts every WILD multiplier to at least 10x.

What happens once scatters land

At Richard Casino we explain each round before it starts, so you know what to expect.

Land 3 scatters for 10 spins

3, 4, 5 or 6+ SCATTER symbols on the first tumble start Free Spins with 10, 12, 15 or 20 spins. The WILD multiplier range extends to 500x, and the WILD METER persists across the round. Retriggers add 5, 7, 10 or 12 spins. Max win cap: 10000x bet.

Base Game spinBonus spins

From 1x to a 10x floor

Landing 6 or more SCATTER symbols on the first tumble starts Super Free Spins with 20 spins. Every WILD multiplier has a 10x floor: values below 10x are raised to 10x. The WILD METER keeps building and compounds through the round. Max win cap: 10000x bet.

One spin, many tumbles

Clusters of 5 or more connected symbols win on the 6x6 grid. Tumble removes winning symbols, fills from above and repeats. WILD adds a random 1x to 100x multiplier to its column's WILD METER. Cluster wins are multiplied by the WILD METER on their columns, which resets after each spin.

Gates of Hades: from bet to payout

Here you see how one round runs, from your first bet to the moment you decide to stop.

  1. Choose from A$0.20 upward

A$0.20 is the lowest bet and A$240 the highest. Choose your bet before each round, since the money you win grows with it.

  2. Clusters of five on the grid

Five or more matching symbols joined horizontally or vertically form a cluster. Winning symbols vanish, new ones fall in, and the tumble repeats until no cluster is left.

  3. From 1x to 100x per WILD

WILD symbols carry a random multiplier from 1x to 100x. Its value joins the WILD METER of that column, and clusters multiply by the meters of the columns they cover.

  4. Scatter symbols on first tumble

Three, four, five or six-plus SCATTER symbols on the first tumble give 10, 12, 15 or 20 spins. WILD multipliers reach 500x; the WILD METER carries on across the round.

  5. Gates of Hades session limit

A$240 is the top bet. Set your limit before the first spin and keep to it, because a session result cannot be known in advance.

Unpredictable timing of the bonus round

The 6x6 grid of Gates of Hades is high volatility, and that describes the size of swings, not their timing. How often the bonus round comes is not known in advance. The result of one session is random, whatever the RTP. Two sessions with the same bet can end far apart, and no past spin changes what the next one pays.

Three RTP versions of Gates of Hades exist, and each one carries its own return. Which version this lobby runs is shown only in the game rules. Read those rules before your first spin, so the return you expect matches the version you are playing.

x10,000 is the ceiling of Gates of Hades, measured as a multiple of the bet. Hitting it is very rare, and nothing in a session shows that it is close. Treat the figure as the upper edge of what is possible, not as a target.
